Program Needs Assessment

A program review should end with a decision about what to do next. I built a small tool to help someone get there.

An assessment summary showing priority concerns and an assigned next action

The idea

Why I built it.

I wanted a program leader to be able to work through a short assessment and leave with something they could act on. That meant choosing what needed attention first and giving the next action an owner and a due date.

The tool includes questions about how a program works, from staffing coverage to how it measures outcomes. It ranks the concerns raised by the answers and asks you to choose a next action. You can also write your own questions and decide how the answers affect the ranking.

I kept it small enough to open as a file in a browser. There is no account to create and no service to connect. You can return to an unfinished review, read past assessments, and export a report. The scores help organize attention; deciding what a program needs still takes judgment.
