The idea

Why I built it.

I wanted to test whether Google Workspace could do more than help a team write documents and share files. Could I use only Google products to run a program, from incoming requests to performance reviews and follow-up work?

Plumb uses Google Sheets to hold records and Apps Script to run the application. Operating guidance lives in Google Docs. The aim was to connect the work using tools a business might already pay for.

The project explores how to assign responsibility, track performance, and bring the right operating guidance into the work. It also tests the less visible requirements: who can see a record, what happens when two people edit it, and how to recover when something goes wrong.
